As we experience our emotions, it helps to remember that we are not our emotions ...
Our emotional responses after all are governed largely by how we examine, interpret or define circumstances or events in our life ...
Imagine for example that you are looking at someone walking on the street ...
Now think : smile, warmth, friendship, connection, soul partner, oneness ...
And now think : frown, separation, judgment, sarcasm, distant, hostile ...
How does this change your perception of this person?
What emotions does each scenario bring for you to experience?
The first scenario brings emotions of love and kindness ...
Which make you feel warm and meaningful ...
And the second scenario brings emotions of conflict and discomfort ...
Which make you feel cold and empty ...
Which is the true face of reality?
Well ... Either can be ...or both!
The truth is that the scenario YOU choose is the reality you create, with the emotions that derive from it ...
Our mind perception is defining our emotions ...and consequently the outcome of circumstances ...and ...
...whether we feel comfortable or uncomfortable ...
Perception is a great self-responsibility ...
