How Do I Get Closer To My Source?
Let’s remember something together here ... The process of listening to our Inner Voice is carried out by a Presence that serves as a connector. In the first place we need a willingness to focus in total dedication, therefore to make clock time for it, and a desire to intently listen, not to force and struggle, but to listen calmly, to pay attention.
It is the “transmission” of a knowing we receive. We never know which words come next in the knowing, although we might anticipate similar ones. The most difficult task on our part is not to let our own thoughts intrude, and to come in between. This transmitting process is delicate, and often wrought with miss-understandings, because of our own different ‘coloration’ and belief systems. Furthermore, we are often reluctant to write what we ‘hear’ when it compliments and encourages you. Most often we are ready for negativity, as it is what we have been expecting day after day, and we have been so familiar with. We also feel that we are not worthy of having the Presence within, never mind listening to the Higher Self, and in other words, God.
We are still so troubled by a low self-esteem that we don’t believe (mostly subconscious) that we ~ and you too yes, no matter how you have or are living life ~ are loved unconditionally by the Essence of Creation that lives within us, this Energy of Pure Love that is part of us.
At times of tribulation and hardship we definitely need the encouragement of our Loving Presence to keep going on the higher path. Therefore we are encouraged to be at all times the best we can be. Oh, we know that people often miss-construe our best intentions, and that this exasperates us, but that is fine. In all this we learn the most important lesson of patience, which is a skill that no one fully possesses on this planet, because with patience comes unconditional love and forgiveness, therefore peace and what we call “happiness,” in the unlimited sense, which is beyond our imagination presently.
It is surely a severe testing ground, because we keep coming up against undesirable behaviour in ourself, which we still need to overcome on the road to self-mastery. It is in the overcoming that we are eventually victorious. We are beginning to realize that there is a long road ahead of us, but then so, too, do we have all of eternity to accomplish perfection through loving service towards each and everyone we meet in ‘God’s wide and amazing creation.
We can now also throw out of our mind the erroneous idea that earth is the only peopled planet in this wide creation. There are myriad planets, each with their own life-forms but all with unique souls like ours here on this planet, endowed with the capacity to love unconditionally. According to our old records, it was said, ‘let us make man in our own image.’ It was not referring to the outer box or body of flesh, but for the inner soul to be a reflection of ~ let’s say “Him,” or “Her,” our source being both masculine and feminine energies at the same time, just like us.
A tiny seed is planted at conception in every human or mortal, and we have been given the free will to choose to experience immortality. In order to receive nurturing growth, the mortal needs to make the decision to be immortal, and make that Higher/God-connection, like we would when we plug into a receptacle to turn on the light.
