Excerpts from Flying Solo, a book by Eveline Kopachkov

Page 7 Please observe I use the name “God” to represent our essence, the power of creation in us and the Light of divine being. I could use the names Jesus, Lao Tzu, Muhammad, Jehovah, Krishna, Vishnu, Buddha, Socrates, Confucius, Einstein, Frank or Eve, Jane or Daniel, x or z ... It does not matter at this point of consciousness, as our higher Self or our God-Self is simply pure and amazing infinite energy of love, of life, no matter what its name is!

Page 8 “Flying” because we are moving through the turbulences of self-awakening as we are gliding through air, traveling towards our destination and our divine intention, while encountering agitation, storms, cloud layers and traffic. “Solo,” because no one can do the journey for us. Although we help each other to attain our purpose, we are One and we are ultimately accountable for creating our own experience. This journey, with our Self, allows us to gain a new view and meaning on self-responsibility, with a continuously expanding perception on existence while experiencing other aspects of our Self and discovering new heights …

Page 10 I was born in Alsace, France. A baby girl to the disappointment of my father, I was however a Tom boy growing up, playing noisily with small toy cars in dirt, on which my little neighbor Luc would pee to make it mud and more interesting! Cowboys and Indians, thumb up and pointing the index finger, while excitingly shouting “pow pow pow” and pretending to be shooting at each other was a regular activity with the boys around the building complex where I lived with my parents and my older sister. I was quite determined and outspoken and you could easily call it bossy! A stick in my hand, I loved to play teacher and I was recognized and heard in the community for giving strict commanding and loud orders to the sweet little boy who lived across the street and who, for some reason, enjoyed my authoritative company, while playing school in front of a chalk board. I was also known as the swift little pair of hands, for stealing candies, chewing gums and caramels at the corner store. My mom would make me give them back when she caught me returning from the scene of the crime, with my pockets full, bulging of goodies …

Page 35 As we “live,” or “vibrate,” we gradually reach different levels of mind awareness and different conscious levels of “divine memory” of our intrinsic “sacred intelligence” that we also call maturity or wisdom at the beginning stage of recognition. There are countless levels attainable. When we reach these “higher” levels, (they bring us to more blissful “heights!”) we are able to perceive what we call “life” in a different way or from a different angle. These levels and different sight of “insight” of life understanding bring us to the many facets of a new and different Truth and to grasp a different meaning than the one we have known thus far. A higher level of consciousness is not a different place or time. It is right here, right now and we can reach it with genuine intention as our catalyst! …

Page 46 Whether material, mental or emotional, the fulfillment, which gives us some satisfaction, is always temporary! This little taste of merriment we may have, sprouts our will to go on with our efforts, in order to get another sampling of short lived happiness, soon, maybe! What are we doing here? Why are we here? Where are we going? …

Pages 57-58 I am in an altered state, a state where I feel safe and yes, I know now there is definitely more than what I see to life, there is more to the existence perceived by our physical senses. I am aware of it and my heart confirms it. This is what feels so good and so serene, I am so detached from the buzzing around me. A part of me is excited because I feel and I know I am about to discover more than I ever thought was possible. And my discovery is within. It’s prompting goose bumps! I fully understand Marcel Proust when he said, “The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.” My eyes are starting to open and faith is growing. It takes time to believe. We must want the desired changes and transformation. We must befriend silence, and then question and listen, yes really listen. It takes time to let go of a limited way of thinking and golly we have time! We have all the time needed. Let’s start now. I breathe deeply and I smile, I am content. …

Pages 63-64 True, sometimes, we prefer to stick with our discomfort and unhappiness rather than to dive into the unknown. Most of the time, we are afraid of risks. Will they bring us something terrible and worse than what we already know? On the other hand, when something feels “too good to be true,” we assure ourselves that it must not be possible or that it won’t last! Douglas Harding says it simply, “How much harder it is to bear one’s splendor than one’s miseries!” Today’s outcome was good. It was empowering and I feel victorious. We can have a glimpse of heaven and more of it anytime we choose. We all can. “Heaven on earth is a choice you must make, not a place we must find.” – Wayne Dyer. When I reflect on our creation and its perfection ... I fall in love... I fall in love with God, hence with the whole Universe and us! …

Pages 69-70 The belief that we are not worthy for example triggers thoughts that produce unpleasant emotions, such as self-criticism and resentment. It makes us feel and behave as a victim, as someone who doesn’t deserve anything good or pleasant, and it goes further, by affecting our choices daily, which can make our life feel quite miserable! Seeing our self and feeling as a victim and using self-pity is significantly disabling. It goes without saying as well that we can attract some nasty situations to us, that we label “accidents,” “disaster” or “catastrophes,” all with our “victim” vibrations. …

Page 111 When we are uptight and we don’t believe in a positive outcome, we keep on struggling in the seemingly endless and lingering “issues” which fancily enjoy occupying and entertaining our mind. We focus on negative and negative “multiplies,” and gives birth to more negative! What a party! It is indeed a bash and it can go on for a long time if we let it. It can take our life over! It can take complete control of us if and when we allow it. And we can make our self quite miserable as a result! We entertain unpleasant situations, which have not yet happened and which will probably not even remotely come close to taking place at all!

Page 153 Everything happens at the right time, in the right place and in the right manner for the right reason. Absolutely each and e v e r y - thing! Everything - from a phone call made or one not made, a plane missed or rescheduled for no apparent reason, from the car not starting for an “illogical” reason, to a feeling of taking a different road home after work, from everything coming our way to make us late one morning, to meeting people “unexpectedly,” – everything happens for a specific reason, in a certain way, at a certain time and at a certain place! All events, circumstances, situations take place and are in our life, fully justified, even if we don’t understand it or can’t explain why. They are attracted in our reality, in our process of life and our evolution, because they have something specific to offer to us. They are more opportunities to look inward in order to find more of the treasures living within you. There is always a good reason why things or situations do or don’t come to us when we want or expect them to. The reason is particularly and “individually suited” to each of us and to others involved. Our agenda is not always the divine agenda, and guess what? The divine agenda takes priority in all cases because it is what is best for us, whether we understand it or not and whether we agree with it or not in our human perspective! …

Page 207 There are days when “buttons get pushed” and we seem to resist and destroy every chance we have to relax and to feel peace and happiness. These are days when we don’t appear to know who we are at all. We forget about purpose and gratitude and we struggle, envisioning our life as a self-absorbed, microscopic and insignificant part of the universe. We do not feel self-love and divine gratification. It becomes visible that we are drowning in a sea of fear, negativity and worry. This scenario, this insane perspective and this state of mind happen because we expect our experience to go a certain way, at a specific time, and it doesn’t. In other words, the “magic” disappears and we can say that we panic and loose control! In those times, it doesn’t look like we even have a higher consciousness. Low self-vibrations have taken over. Simple enough, our ego self has scored and conquered the field. When this takes place, we get disappointed, disillusioned and frustrated. So we beat ourselves up. Our old responses are back. The same old pattern is happening again and we repeat the past. We self-criticize, we doubt our self. We feel that we have nothing to live for and that we’re in other people’s life for no apparent good reason. We feel as a big burden to our self and to everyone else. What’s the point? What’s the meaning of all this? What’s the purpose? We don’t know! …

Page 256 We are ultimately skilled at the art of feeling guilty and responsible for others and especially for the ones whom we have emotional attachment for, like family members and friends. We are fundamentally addicted to a routine of worrying about anything and everything. We are true artists at proficiently painting harsh and far too serious self-judgment on ourselves! We all excel at the art of drama. We are aces at having and forming expectations. Should those expectations not be fulfilled for any possible reason, we pull ourselves through the gutter of negative and critical thoughts, draining our self-esteem to a mere insignificant droplet of dignity and to a petty speck of worth! We do! And if you think that I’m imagining this or exaggerating the facts, observe your self the next time something doesn’t go your way! …

Page 275 Sometimes, when life just doesn’t seem to go anywhere, when we feel stuck and when the things we desire simply don’t appear to come to us or materialize without struggle, all we can do is flow with it. It is actually the best creating tool we have. To breathe, to let go of expectations and to release the circus of thoughts, even for a few seconds at the time, helps us to stop resistance and relax. Today is one of these days for me. My neck feels stiff and my lower back insists on being the king of the day; a royal pain! I am resisting all my body’s messages, attempting to find all kinds of physical reasons for me to have this excessive degree of discomfort, this “pain in the back!” What am I doing that is not right? I am probably not exercising enough. I’ve been meaning to lose some weight and this acne condition on my face is getting to me. I am eating well and yet, my body seems to rebel even the good care I am giving to it. It might be my hormones, and I continue with “it might be this” or “it might be that.” I haven’t had enough water during the past few days. I must be simply longing for some long past due traveling. When are we finally going to take a holiday? And I go on, beating myself up with thoughts of confusion and inadequacy, ending up feeling like a martyr! Not only do I experience physical pain but it looks like I need to inflict mental stress on myself as well. So I cry and I feel angry and frustrated. And here goes the emotional punishment tool! …

Page 279 What you need is a delightful, cleansing shower of light, a sparkling relaxing bath of pure consciousness, a detoxification of your ill feelings, addictions and routine habits. You need a series of cleansing experiences to let go of impurities and stains that were self-inflicted, oh yes, completely voluntarily, but I assure you, quite unconsciously. You have been simply lost. Your higher self has been holding out his/her hand to reach yours, but you didn’t take it. You didn’t see it! Well, dear readers, today, like every other day is an amazing gift of love. Between 9 am and 11 am, I went from pain and struggle to the most gratifying recognition that our universe is the most incredible, awesome and perfect creation imaginable! And I got the beautiful opportunity and wonderful blessing to share it with you! True control is not what we think it is. It is not the rational control that our ego mind has concocted for us. True control is actually letting go, just as loving and forgiving is letting go. True control and growth is letting go and accepting whatever comes to us. Real, true control is to be free from all attachments, to any and every result, to any and every expectations, no matter what it may be. …

Page 307 From your tiniest to your biggest ideas, from your slightest to your strongest hints, whatever gives you a reason to use your creativity is a spark from your source, from your inspired self, from God or whatever name you may use to call your life and passion within. Do you still think that there are such things as coincidences in your life? Do you still think that there is such thing as good or bad luck or accidents? First of all, let it be known that you are in the amazing, sensational, stunning, glorifying ascension of consciousness and process of awakening! You are flying through the turbulences of self-awakening! This is an exciting changing time for all of us. We are in the process of awakening to another dimension. As the vibrational changes are taking place on our planet, many individuals are ready and are choosing to be enlightened and propelled into a faster paced spiritual growth and a higher frequency of being. It is a very special time for us who have intended and set for ourselves the challenge of looking beyond the world of human reality and deeper into life’s meaningfulness. Spiritual clarity is taking place. Intuition, our inner voice is being heightened. There are rapid changes in our belief system, through some rather great and interesting “turbulences,” therefore modifications and changes in our choices, behavior and actions. …

Page 328 There is a long and perhaps tough ride with our ego self ahead of us, but we must realize and keep in focus that each step of it is worth the journey. Yes, the bigger we have allowed our ego self to be, the more the challenges, the bigger the changes and the more joy and peace eventually! In fact, the “ride” simply starts with recognition. It is recognition that comes naturally, with a constantly growing development of understanding, which takes place as we experience our wake-up calls. We may be far from appreciating the rollercoaster of awakening at its lowest points, which are the wake-up calls, and which can be perceived as feeling uncomfortable, at least initially, but the growing ascension we experience is of divine nature, quite ecstatic and most encouraging! …

Pages 351-352 Our journey can be a breeze once we start understanding our ego self and its purpose. The more we resist our ego nature and the more we react, based on old beliefs and emotions that we hang on to, the more we feel that we are struggling. As we let go of our attachments to our “old self,” as we see each situation as “new”, without precedents or similarities, our spiritual journey becomes an uncomplicated one, filled with peace and deserved happiness. Our journey can feel like a curse or like a blessing, depending on how we look at it, depending on how often we remind our self that EVERYTHING happens for a good reason and that EVERY-THING, situation, circumstance and person in our life, no matter how pleasant or unpleasant, is a GIFT for us. EVERYTHING is “there” for us to awaken and to rise above and beyond the shapes and commonality of a reality we are creating with our ego mind, a reality that we are here to experience with the goal of rising above all that we have known thus far, as human and as spirit! …
